Katherine Eaglin (She/Her)
"If you're always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be."
- Maya Angelou
Katherine Eaglin is a Richmond, Virginia-based artist and craftswoman. She is pursuing an undergraduate degree in Craft and Material Studies at VCU, specializing in metals. Her creative journey has been displayed at The Anderson Gallery (2024), the Dransfield Gallery
(2023), Hawthorne Gallery (2022), and The SIRSA student exhibition (2023).
Katherine finds that enjoyment of creating is through making work for others to see, feel, and experience. For there is power in adornment, and she utilizes that component by creating armor like pieces that embarks strength and confidences within the wearer.
